Yes...there is an internal threat to security. Thank you very much!
It amazes me that the Indian government has NOW acknowledged Naxlism as ‘an internal threat to security’, after allowing it good four decades to flourish! I am 26 yrs old and have spent nearly two decades in Chattisgarh….thanx to my dad- who is into Indian Forest Services. Even when I was only 5 yrs old I was aware of incidences where police/ forest officials were threatened and attacked by Naxalites……their kids weren’t safe either! But it’s only when there was a landmine blast near Hounrable Chief Minister’s constituency that the Government decided to take ‘aggressive measures’!
After they have beheaded a cop…..there have been innumerable brazen attacks…. and after I have lived for more than quarter of a century, I hear that the Government of India is gearing up to combat Naxalism…..BRAVO!!!!
